Xander Mellor, a 6-year-old boy from Springfield, Illinois had been saving for 18 months to purchase a puppy. Natalie Ellenburg would come home from work and ask for the change. He would then deposit it in his savings account.
The boy had been saving for 18 months to save enough money to purchase a puppy. But Grandma’s gesture made him cry.

Xander had quit buying sweets, delicious things and food because he wanted a puppy. After hearing about his adorable quest, his grandparents decided to pay him visit to make his wish a reality.

In this video, Xander happily runs out of the house as soon as he sees his grandparents’ car. Grandma asks him to close his eyes and stretch his hands out for a “present” as he approaches the vehicle door.
The boy is ‘all smiles’ as he waits for Grandma’s present, but his eyes open in absolute shock when he sees a cute little puppy placed in his arms!
