Bournemouth will be looking to continue their unbeaten Premier League run tonight when they host Southampton in an east coast derby.
After six consecutive wins, the Cherries are now 11th. They are also five points ahead of the drop zone.
However, the Saints’ newly-promoted team has only won two of the last ten top flight games they have played against. History is against them.
But Southampton are in far worse form, and Ralph Hasenhuttl’s team arrive at the Vitality in the relegation zone without a win in five.
They managed to draw 1-1 with West Ham on Sunday, ending a string of four consecutive defeats.

Kick-off at Vitality Stadium is set for 7:30pm.

Bournemouth and Southampton: Team news
Joe Rothwell, a summer signing, was on Fulham’s bench in the Cherries’ 2-2 draw with Fulham. He had just returned from an injury.
Ben Pearson, who is currently in full training, could be available on Wednesday.
David Brooks, Captain Lloyd Kelly, and David Brooks were not able to travel to London. They might be also disappointed by this outcome.
Jack Stephens is currently on loan from Southampton, so is not eligible.
Southampton’s young centre-back Armel Bella-Kotchap suffered a dislocated shoulder against West Ham and will be out until after the World Cup.
Duje Caleta Car will likely replace the German defender.
Romeo Lavia, Tino Livramento, and Tino Livramento remain long-term absentees of the Saints.
