Bournemouth near to being bought by a Las Vegas-based group that plans to establish a training ground for staff and provide transfer funds.

According to talkSPORT sources, Bournemouth is close to being bought by a Las Vegas-based group.

Alex Crook believes the consortium plan to develop the club’s training ground and stadium and also provide transfer funds in January to build on current owner Max Demin’s legacy.

These are very exciting times to be a member of the south-coast club

Russian-born, but British citizen, Demin purchased Bournemouth 2011 and his investment spurred it into the Premier League for 2015.

Since 2019, Demin has been the sole shareholder of Bournemouth. He repurchased a 25% stake he previously sold to PEAK6 Investments.

Scott Parker was promoted to the top flight automatically after he took over the management reins in the summer 2021.

The season started with the Cherries in a poor way. Parker parted ways following claims he made that the club were ‘underequipped’ for the season.

Gary O’Neil has since taken interim charge of the club, his first match seeing them play out a goalless draw against Wolves.

They came from being down 2-0 to beat Nottingham Forest, 3-2 at City ground.
