Blizzard has offered freebies for Overwatch 2 players in an effort to make amends for the rocky launch.

Blizzard Previously admittedThat Overwatch 2’s Launch was delayed by numerous bugs, DDoS attacks, etc., which caused the game to not be playable. While the company has made a lot of progress to make the game playable — a lot of players Couldn’t log in at first — its work is far from done. Developer is now trying to win over fans with freebies and events. Double Match XP weekends will be held in order to offer players the opportunity to rank up and earn more points. Blizzard will soon announce the dates. 

Players who log into the site between October 25th to Season One end will be able to access a Cursed Captain Reaper Legendary face and a Health Pack Weapon Charm. When players log in during that time, both items will be automatically added to their collection. Blizzard stated in its announcement that it will continue to roll out stability updates. This includes a new patch, which is due for release next week. It stated that it will continue to monitor the game closely for bugs or additional issues.
