‘Black Panther 2’ producer clears up the confusion surrounding the sequel in the MCU timeline

Marvel fans will find it very important to map the timeline of Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Some movies are more easily incorporated into the timeline than others. While there are some titles that don’t provide many clues and despite being fun, understanding them could sometimes be really frustrating.

Producers are always helpful in removing any confusion about the timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

And that’s exactly what happened. A recent interview with Cinema Blend?, Wakanda for Ever: Black Panther producer and Marvel Studios’ VP Nate Moore addressed the question regarding where the sequel fits in the MCU timeline.

Nate Moore wasn’t sure where the next sequel to 2018’s film would be set. Black PantherHe explained the movie’s place in the MCU timeline, in terms of years.

Answering the question, he said, “This movie clearly happens after [Spider-Man]Eternals and No Way Home. It could happen concurrently with Thor, I believe. [Love and Thunder].”

“New Asgard does exist in… our film. And almost concurrent with Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania, which is coming out in February,” Nate Moore added.

The film Wakanda for Ever: Black Panther sees the return of most of its original main cast, including Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, Martin Freeman, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, and Florence Kasumba. Tenoch Huerta and Michaela Coel are the new additions to the franchise film. Mabel Cadena and Alex Livinalli will also be in the film.

Ryan Coogler, Director, is back in charge Wakanda for Ever: Black PantherFrom a screenplay that he co-wrote along with Joe Robert Cole. The film will be released in theatres on November 11, 2022.
