Biden took a scathing pause when asked by a reporter if she supports 2024.

After responding to a question from Dr. Jill Biden asking if he would be supporting her run for the office again in 2024, President Biden was subject to criticism via social media.

“Dr. Biden is in favor of it?” Jonathan Capehart of MSNBC Ask BidenA clip of Biden running in 2024 was aired on Friday. Biden looked down at the floor, then paused. Capehart responded with, “Mr. President?”

Biden stated, “Dr. Biden believes that, my spouse thinks so,” before pausing once more. “That we’re doing something very important, and I shouldn’t walk away from it.”

The clip was criticized on social media, including from Republican National CommitteeRonna McDaniel, chairwoman of the exchange, called it “scary”

Fox News Contributor Katie Pavlich tweeted: “Looking forward for the fact checkers trying explain this one.” 

Before being asked about Dr. Biden’s position on him running for president again, the 79-year-old president said that he has “not made that formal decision” but “it’s my intention to run again.”

Biden stated that he had “time to make that determination.”

It was This was reported earlier in the week that Dr. Biden tore into top White House officials and demanded answers following the president’s latest solo press conference in January when he ignored a cue to wrap up his comments and no one intervened.

The report received strong criticism from Republicans, including Rep. Ronny Johnson, the former White House physician. He accused the first Lady and senior White House staff members of “running a concealment operation to protect their self-interest,” as well as taking aim at the president’s cognitive state.

An analysis of 1,206 registered voters Fox News showed last week that over half (54%) would vote for someone else besides President Biden  in 2024 while a third (33%) would re-elect Biden.

The White HouseFox News Digital reached out to them but they did not immediately reply.
