Kari Lake (Trump-endorsed Republican candidate for Governor of Arizona) was questioned regarding her debunked claim about the theft of the 2020 election.

On CNN’s “State of the Union”.Dana Bash, host of Dana Bash, responded to Lake’s claim that there is ample evidence that the election was rigged on Sunday.

“You called the 2020 election corrupted, stolen, rotten, and rigged. But there was no evidence in court or elsewhere that any such things were true. “So, why are you saying this?” Bush asked.

“We had 740,000 votes with no chain of custody. Lake replied that those ballots should not have been counted before Bash again asked for evidence. There’s plenty of evidence. It’s possible to find it. It is mine. Problem is, the media won’t report it.

Bush responded, “We covered it extensively, and what your just said has been disproved.”

Lake, an ex-news anchor, who clinched the Republican nominationTrump’s false claims about voter fraud, repeated by Trump in August as governor and supported efforts to Stop voting machines being usedArizona InsiderPreviously reported.

Bash asked Lake Sunday: “Are your statements that the 2020 election was stolen are you undermining trust in elections?”

Lake responded, “We have the right to question our government, and it’s protected by our First Amendment.” “When media start to cancel people because they are questioning their government that’s when you know there is a problem.

CNN then cut to a montage of Trump’s Justice Department officials – including William Barr, Richard Donaghue, and Jeffrey Rosen – who all made statements under oath that there was no substantial voter fraud in the 2020 election.

Bash stated that these are Trump’s top Justice Department officials. “Why not trust them?”

Lake mentioned the August 2022 primary elections, where officials in certain Arizona counties ran short of ballots. Bash confirmed these events and noted that officials had apologized to try to be transparent.

“So, if leaders such as you and President Trump say that the election was stolen are you not participating, contributing, and even causing people to think that the election may not be safe and secure?” Bash asked.

Lake answered, “No,”
