Atletico Madrid confirmed the permanent signing for Antoine Griezmann of Barcelona.
The 31-year-old joined Diego Simeone’s side on-loan last year, but this campaign has been limited to just 30-minute cameos from the bench.
It was previously revealed a clause had been inserted in his contract which meant, if he played at least 45 minutes in 14 matches, the Madrid club would be liable to pay Barcelona a £35million fee to make the move permanent.
