It can be hard to watch rescue videos and stories, as we all know. We are truly inspired by the incredible work of Hope For Paws and their heroes.

Hope For Paws was notified of a German Shepherd who needed help. They immediately went to assist. They found the mother dog desperately trying to revive her pup, who had died.

The dog was aggressive and skittish. She would bark and growl at anyone who came near, but it was clear that she wanted to be rescued. It wasn’t going to be easy though; she was aggressive, so the rescuers would have to move slowly and carefully.

They took some time but finally she was persuaded to go into the crate with some food and love. Kailani was already healed just 2 days later!
