But Roma are only prepared to offer him a £3m-a-year deal, while the club aren’t keen to accept Zaniolo’s bonus proposal based on appearances.
Roma realize that if Zaniolo is not tied down to a new deal, they could accept a cut-price contract for Zaniolo next summer.
