Arsenal beat Bodo/Glimt 1-0 in a difficult Europa League match.
Mikel Arteta’s side faced a difficult test in northern Norway after being greeted by an impressive fireworks display and seeing the spirited home supporters relished what has been dubbed as the club’s biggest match in their history.
Supporters could watch from flats that overlooked the stadium, or even climb up to the roof to get the best view of the action.
As they tried to pass the test on an artificial surface, they were amazed at how professional Arsenal was.
Arteta made many changes to his team. He added Ben White, William Saliba and Martin Odegaard to give the team vital experience. Saka opened the scoring midway through half-time after combining with Albert Sambi Lokonga.
This season, the winger has been in top form with four goals and four assists. He was even able to score in Norway’s clash. Alvin MartinSaka is showing signs of a goal-scoring instinct that could lead him to new heights.
Speaking on commentary for talkSPORT 2, Martin said: “This is a part of his game that has improved.
“He’s good at getting past people, but there’s a time to give and go.
“He’s done it perfectly and it’s so hard to defend.
“He gets luck with the deflection, but it’s intelligent how he gets in there.”
Bodo/Glimt had chances of their own to get something from the game, but Arteta’s side managed to make it three wins from three matches to ensure that they are well on the way to the Europa League knockout stage.
