Around 1,400 Twitter employees joined blind since Elon Musk took over

  • Blind was signed up by more than 1,400 Twitter employeesInsider has heard from its co-founder in the last month.

Since Elon Musk took over Twitter, Twitter employees have been flocking at Blind, the anonymous professional network. 

Insider was told by Kyum Kim, co-founder of Twitter. In the past month, over 1,400 Twitter employees joined Blind. According to him, blind accounts now account for 95% of Twitter employees.

Blind users can post, but they can only upload a review about a company that they work for. Blind posters must submit their job title, email address and employer when signing up to “gauge” the professional status of its users.

Kim Insider previouslyIt had seen “much greater usage” in this month’s second quarter, following massive layoffs in tech. 

Musk’s $44B takeover of Twitter was completed on October 27, and almost half of Twitter’s workforce were fired a week later, or 3,700 employees.

He said that over 7,000 Meta employees joined Blind within the first two week of November, and that 64,000 Meta employees are currently on site. 

Insider requested comment from Twitter but was not able to get a response.
