Arizona Republican candidate Kari Lake announced that her campaign had raised more than $300,000. She cheekily credit it to the fact that Sen. Liz Cheney,She is actively campaigning against her.
In an open letter, Lake thanked Cheney for her “biggest fundraiser yet” as Cheney’s recent television ad campaign “urging Arizonans not to vote for me is doing the just the opposite.”
“Our campaign donations are on the rise and our website almost crashed from traffic due to people hurrying to learn about my plan. Arizona FirstLake sent the letter urging people to “join our historic movement.”
She said, “In fact my team tells us your commercial should be an additional 10 points to our lead!” I guess that’s why they call the Cheney anti-endorsement the gift that keeps on giving.”

Cheney’s leadership political action committee, Great Task PAC, released the ad via television broadcast, online and other streaming platforms, the Hill reported.
Lake said her campaign appreciates the “$500,000 ad buy” but said it “likely exceeds Arizona’s $5,300 individual contribution limit.”
Lake wrote, “Thanks again for the enormous boost to our campaign,” noting that Cheney was on her exit. Washington, D.C.“Enjoy your forced withdrawal from politics.”
According to FOX 10 Phoenix, Lake is ahead of Katie Hobbs, her real opponent in the gubernatorial race, by 11 percentage points.

Matt Towery (a pollster from InsiderAdvantage), conducted the poll and said Hobbs trails Lake because she refuses public debate.
