Apple’s Magic Keyboard Folio for the new iPad has a 14-key function row

Apple has a new keyboard case for its redesigned lower-end iPad, the Magic Keyboard Folio, and unlike the company’s other keyboard covers for its tablets, this case has an entire row of 14 dedicated function keys.

The order of the cover’s function keys largely mirrors what you might already be familiar with from Apple’s computer and laptop keyboards. You can access keys such as escape and brightness changers on the left. On the right you will find keys for media playback, volume, and media playback.

Apple’s Magic Keyboard Folio comes in a two-piece design. The keyboard attaches to the bottom of the iPad while it’s in landscape mode and also has a large trackpad. The back panel / stand combination, which can be set up at different viewing angles and attached to the iPad, attaches on the back.

Order the Magic Keyboard Folio Now for $249 from Apple’s website. The website states that it will arrive between October 26th & November 2nd. But keep in mind that it’s only compatible With the updated iPad. If you’ve got an iPad Air or iPad Pro, you’re still stuck without function keys on Apple’s keyboard cases.
