The fate of the Hoops was sealed by goals from Timo Werner (Goal) and Emil Forsberg (Goal). They have only one point from their four group matches.
Ex-Chelsea forward Werner may have helped knock Ange Postecoglou’s men out of the Champions League, however, another former Blue has given them hope of reaching the knockout stage of this season’s Europa League.
Real Madrid’s Antonio Rudiger won a stoppage time equaliser in the match against Shakhtar Donezk in Warsaw.
Rudiger, who was heading in a cross-from the left, was left with blood on his shirt because of his troubles.

However, Celtic will benefit from the outcome in their quest to finish third in the group. They will now be able to reach the knockout stages of the Europa League.
With Shakhtar in third place, the Scottish champions are now four points behind. Celtic will entertain the Ukrainian side on Oct 25.
To win the match, Celtic must win. Shakhtar should lose to Leipzig in gameweek six. Real Madrid needs to win at Bernabeu.
