Google has released its third beta build of Android 13 QPR1 testing. It is now rolling out to Pixel devices.
Android Developers has posted Android 13 QPR1 Beta 3 to the Pixel 4a and Pixel 4a (5G), Pixel 5a and Pixel 5a, and the Pixel 6 6 Pro, 6a. We welcome the Pixel 77 Pro to the testing. These phones will see the latest beta version as version T1B3.221003.003.
Android Developers have kept the changelog small, but there are some changes and new features regarding the third phase. We are also seeing settings. Clear CallingThis QPR1 Beta 3 also includes this feature. This new AI feature was revealed by Google after the release of its Pixel 7. Pixel 7 ProMake your mark at the Made by Google event. Clear Calling uses AI to reduce background noise and highlight voice on other end, so calls sound clearer. Mishaal Rahman’s initial testing shows that the function works as expected.

The Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a and 6a all seem to lack the audio_cca_aoc required library to enable the feature. CCA stands for crystal clear audio, while AOC stands for “always=on computation,” which is the Tensor chip’s sensor hub.
Although there was some good news, the overall result was not great. Android 13 QPR1 Beta 2One change that was made in the release is the expanded volume control panel. This panel was originally centered on the Pixel device’s screen in Beta 2, but now it is back at the bottom of your screen when you open it.

Google’s beta has a toggleable option that allows Pixel phone users to choose whether they would like to use “Battery Share” on their phones. reverse wireless chargingThe phone turns on automatically for a short time after being plugged into a charging port.
Google has also included support for built-in VPNs in this beta phase. This is likely to be in preparation for the Pixel 7’s free VPN through Google One. It was also mentioned during the recent fall event earlier this October.
