Andor’s season finale is peppered with ‘Star Wars’ Easter eggs; from Leia’s hologram to death troopers

Andor’s finale comes back to Ferrix, where the pressure is quite high. It is in the Corporate Zone, which gives the planet some autonomy from Imperial control, until things turned bad. The residents of Ferrix now face the Empire’s wrath and the pressure of their repressive regime. Cassian Andor joined the Rebel Alliance, despite the plant’s rage. There are many Star Wars Easter eggs in the final, all of which were placed intentionally.

Rogue One’s death troopers

Dedra Meero, ISB Supervisor, arrives at Ferrix to capture Cassian Andor. Two Death Troopers are Stormtroopers who specialize in stealth and espionage. She is accompanied by her two companions.

The Emperor Palpatine named the elite group. They were formed when rumors of terrible Imperial black ops circulated, which led to the creation of the ultimate soldiers. Their profile assumes that they will work exclusively for Imperial Intelligence or the ISB. They first appeared in Rogue One : A Star Wars Story. Their appearance in Andor is a clever way to interweave the two stories.

Canto Bight

Mon Mothma claims that Perrin has rekindled their gambling habits after they had an argument. Her driver is a member of the Imperial group. She knows this and will tell her superiors. ISB will review her finances. This way, they’ll blame her husband for the irregularities, not her connection with the Rebel Alliance.

During the discussion she mentions Canto Bight as a planet that is known for its gambling activities. This planet was first mentioned in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. In that film, one alien stated that Canto Bight was “Playground of most glamorous beings” “Big-money cards games and fathier races!” The galaxy’s largest artificial ocean The fanciest food, this side of Coruscant. Her husband’s activities show his character.

Maarva’s Holographic Message

During her funeral, Maarva’s final holographic message pops up, calling the residents of Felix to rebel against the Empire. Star Wars fans will be familiar with the story of Leia calling Luke Skywalker to duty by sending a similar message. The power of holograms to ignite revolution is significant and Saw Gerrera loved it on Onderon in Clone Wars.

Luthen’s Ship

Luthen’s ship The Fonder is one of Andor’s most impressive. Episode 11 shows its combat abilities when Luthen is captain. When Luthen instructs the AI to camouflage the ship while leaving Ferrix, the finale reveals that it has full cloak capabilities. The ship will therefore be invisible and cannot be tracked using magnetic signatures. Darth Maul’s Scimitar was the first to see a Cloak, and it became a common feature during the Clone Wars. This technology is not possible on small ships. This suggests that Fonder could have an extremely powerful energy source.

The Death Star

Andor’s finale’s post-credit scene confirms that Narkina 5 prisoners were indeed creating fragments of the Death Star. Ironically, Cassian will be killed by Death Star in Rogue One : A Star Wars Story. The scene contrasts with the superweapon in Revenge of the Sith that had already installed a dish. Because the Death Star that was destroyed in Return o the Jedi was still in its early stages of construction, it seems unlikely that this is the second Death Star. This is not in line with continuity.
