‘Andor’: Bantha, Wobani, Fest and more easter eggs you may have missed in the ‘Star Wars’ series

In one of the brief scenes, when Maarva Andor (Fiona Shaw) walks into Cassian’s (also known as Kassa) childhood room, Andor touches up on the desert planet of Tatooine through its creatures. The scene shows a Bantha toy propped up, but this is not the first time the mammal’s soft toy has been seen in this franchise. InStar Wars Holiday Special Chewbacca’s (Peter Mayhew) son Lumpy has a similar stuffed animal with him.

Republic Gunships

The show highlights Kassa’s childhood on Kenari was prior to the Clone Wars. When Maarva discovers Kassa, she notes that the Republic forces’ presence will threaten the boy. We see the Low Altitude Assault Transports, (LAAT), getting closer to them. The first ships appeared in Star Wars Episode II Attack of the Clones’ Battle of Geonosis, have been consistently a part ofThe Clone Wars.

Wobani

The pilot episode features a scene where Timm Karlo (James McArdle) inquires from Cassian and Bix Caleen (Adria Arjona) whether they are “bidding on the Wobani run.” At that point, Kassa has not been to the planet, but years later in Rogue One, He saves JynErso (Felicity) who is held in Wobani.

Caf

In the past, the Star Wars universe had “blue milk” and “jawa juice,” their unique drinks. Similarly, Andor carries forward this tradition when Bix asks for a cup of “caf,” which is equivalent to coffee. Caf was coined in 1996’s novella Hasty ExitPeter M. Their first appearance came in Star Wars Episode VI – Return of the JediLuke and Leia (Carrie Fisher), use the bikes to chase Imperial Scouts fleeing. They were first created in the Clone Wars Later, they were employed in the Republic Commando games.
