Glass OnionThe cast of’s is the definition star-studded. You’ve got Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Kate Hudson, Dave Bautista, and of course, Daniel Craig presiding over it all as detective Benoit Blanc. The film’s wackiness is magnified when you add in the cameos.
Rian Johnson is a director who has assembled some of the most prominent stars of screen, stage, and sport to perform in his productions. Glass Onion For a quick screen time pleasure. What better way to celebrate the sheer volume of Glass OnionWhat better way to rate’s cameos that by ranking them? Each cameo is great, so I am ranking them on a scale from “awesome to mind-blowing.” All while taking into account their surprise factor as well as their impact on the plot.

Anderson Cooper, Jared Leto and Jeremy Renner Officially cameo in Glass Onion? No. They are named-dropped in plot-significant ways. Jeremy Renner’s hot sauce is used to help fake Helen’s (Monáe) death; Jared Leto’s hard kombucha gives Helen the confidence she needs to investigate her twin sister Andi’s murder; and billionaire Miles Bron (Norton) uses Anderson Cooper’s birthday party as an excuse to cover up his crimes. They aren’t. Technically Cameos are not honorable, but they are certainly worthy mentions.
7. Ethan Hawke
Ethan Hawke leaps in to Glass Onion Before Miles allowed his guests to set foot on his private island, he sprayed an unknown substance in their throats. Although the throat spray is supposed to prevent or eliminate COVID, we don’t know much about its contents. Hawke’s “Efficient Man” character simply says to the guests, “You’re good.”
Hawke in all things is something I am happy to see, so don’t think of it as a criticism. It’s actually a slight against Hawke’s character. You are implying that Miles has access the miracle cure for COVID, and isn’t spreading it throughout the world. He’s the worst. Efficient Man is the worst for not revealing this entire operation. Go forth Efficient Man and spread the COVID cure among the masses. If you must, blast everyone in the throat.
6. Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Joseph Gordon-Levitt — who was in Rian Johnson’s brilliant fast-talking teen noir Brick Looper — returns for a Glass Onion Comedy and subliminality combined in a cameo Did you see it?
5. Noah Segan
Noah Segan is a Gordon-Levitt-like actor who has a long tradition of appearing on Johnson’s projects. Brick, The Brothers BloomJohnson’s episode of Breaking Bad. These are the details: Derol, chill interloperWith just a few lines, he almost steals every scene.
4. Hugh Grant
While Glass Onion It may not be possible to recreate Knives outChris Evans’ “sweater” momentIt did cause a few screams from me when Hugh Grant, slightly aproned and lightly floured, appeared in the film’s flashback sequence. Grant plays Phillip Blanc, Benoit Blanc’s partner. Based on his aproned appearance, it’s obvious that he’s either a great cook or a great baker. Oder During his quarantine period, he started baking. (To be fair, they aren’t mutually exclusive. Grant won’t be on-screen long but it’s always a pleasure to see him in Benoit’s world.
3. Yo-Yo ma
Imagine this: Rian Johnson is looking for someone to explain to him the musical concept behind fugues. Who do you call? Yo-Yo Ma, the world-famous cellist? Ma is a party guest at Birdie Jay’s (Hudson), beginning of the film. He gives us a crash-course in fugues, which eventually helps. Glass OnionIt is the characters that solve a critical problem. puzzle box. Plot-relevant, informative and surprising? This is what I call a great scene. This cameo is hampered by Ma’s May 2020 raging party. That’s the recipe for COVID disaster! This is unless he has access Ethan Hawke’s miracle cure. How far can this go?
2. Serena Williams
The best part about Serena Williams’ cameo is Glass Onion The best part is that you may not realize it’s Serena Williams’s cameo at first. Your first reaction might be to see Williams on Miles’s screen in Miles’s gym. Then she begins talking and asks Benoit or Andi if you want to exercise. She turns out to be Miles’s personal trainer. Miles may not be around as often as she would like, so she prefers to read. Honestly, she’s the GOAT, and she deserves to do whatever she wants — ParticularlyShe can do whatever she likes in the room. Glass Onion.
