Alex Jones Transferred millions to Entities Controlled By Friends and Family: Report

A Washington PostReport found that Alex Jones had transferred millions of dollars from his InfoWars parent firm before it was shut down Bankruptcy filing.

The radio host has been instructed to Nearly $1.5 billion in damagesrelated to the lies that he spread about Sandy Hook Elementary School’s shooting of 2012. TexasAnd ConnecticutThe rulings were defamatory to the surviving family members. Jones’ financial maneuvers could be an attempt to protect his assets from the impact of these landmark cases.

Twenty-six people, including 20 children, were killed in the shooting.

According to the Post’s records, Jones’ company Free Speech Systems signed promissory note for $55 Million to PQPR holdings. Jones and his parents jointly owned PQPR. Promissory notes are written promises to pay a sum of money at a future date — functionally a legal IOU.

According to Avi Moshenberg, Sandy Hook attorney, the Post, “They started documenting debts that they had not evidence of exist prior to this lawsuit.”

Lawyers representing the Sandy Hook families that were defamed filed an additional suit to argue that PQPR is “not an independent business” and that Jones fraudulent activities are intended stop his $270 million fortuneThe Post reported that the Post had not reported on the fact that the plaintiff was being forced to turn over because of the damages awarded.

Jones’ financial records show that Jones was paid $240,000 by Free Speech Systems in one payment. This was also according to Jones’ financial records. According to the Post, Jones started paying $100,000 per week for his personal trainer in order to ship products and supplements. 

Jones made similar financial maneuvers during his 2013 divorce. Jones claims that the creation of PQPR Holdings two months prior to their divorce was meant to protect Jones from any legal liability. Kelly Jones is his ex-wifeAccording to, “He did it to hide his assets for the time we broke up.” 

Free Speech Systems For bankruptcy earlier this year, as did three other companies tied to Jones last year— Infowars, Prison Planet, and Infowars Health — in what a Sandy Hook parents’ lawyer told Insider was a Technique for stallingTo “delay the inevitable”. 

Jones’ lies regarding the Sandy Hook shooting spread rapidly since he started spreading conspiracy theories about how the shooting was faked. He also claimed that victims’ families were crisis actors. Although he was found guilty in multiple cases of defamation for his comments, Jones’s repeated claims that the shooting had been a hoax are not. Sandy Hook deniers harass family members who are still living.
