Alabama 18-year-old is charged with rape. Robbery. Sexual torture of college student: Unspeakable

A 18-year-old has been placed in jail on “very grave charges” for allegedly raping a college student and torturing her. Alabama, southThis month, earlier.

Investigators claim that the woman was waiting in her vehicle when a masked male wearing a hoodie, a bandana and a mask entered her vehicle. She was raped at gunpoint.

“Other parts of this crime, such as sexual torture against persons,” the news outlet stated.

Deputies stated that the victim called the sheriff’s office to report the incident to her. Persons was identified as a person of interest during the preliminary investigation. 

After authorities interrogated him and confiscated his phone, he was quickly made the “only suspect” in this case.

Persons was to be arrested at his job by deputies on Friday. He ran away when they arrived and was pursued briefly by police before being captured and taken into custody.

Persons charged with first degree sodomy, first degree rape and first-degree burglary, as well sexual torture/abuse.

“These are very serious accusations, especially of a homosexual nature,” MCSO Lieutenant Mark Bailey stated. “We’ll be asking – the D.A.’s Office is the ultimate entity that will request a bond amount, if any – but we will be asking for the highest bond amount possible.”

Bailey indicated that they will also inform the judge Persons because he fled from investigators on Friday.
