After weeks of being on the run, ‘Fat Leonard” is captured in Venezuela.

A U.S. fugitive named Leonard Francis, also known as “Fat Leonard,” was captured in Venezuela on Tuesday – after more than Two weeks of the run. According to authorities, he was trying to board an airplane to another country when he was stopped by police. 

Francis was placed under house arrest San DiegoHe was awaiting sentencing, but he allegedly ripped his ankle bracelet on September 4th and fled. 

Federal officers knocked on his door and left messages, but he didn’t respond. After a welfare check, police found his home empty.
