The players engaged in a heated exchange of words during the Emirates match, which saw Michael Oliver referee both Mikel arteta and Jurgen klopp.
But, after a “full and thorough investigation” which involved the taking of numerous “witness statements” and evidence from “independent linguistics experts”, the FA has decided against taking any action.
In a statement, the governing body said: “The FA received a complaint about an incident involving two players in this fixture. The FA opened an investigation into the matter.
“The investigation included taking witness statements from the complainant and accused, along with an additional six players who were within proximity of the alleged incident, reviewing multiple angles of video footage, and seeking independent linguistics experts evidence. None of the witnesses were able to hear the alleged comment and the player charged vigorously denied the allegation throughout.
“Whilst The FA is entirely satisfied that the allegation was made in good faith, it is equally satisfied that there is no case to answer.”

A number of players got into a fight, which led to a lengthy confrontation between Henderson & Gabriel.
Oliver split the couple before he went over to the touchline with the managers to talk to them.
After the match Arteta declined to detail what the referee had told him, commenting: “It was an incident that happened.
“Whatever happens on that pitch, stays on that pitch.”
