On-line hearts have been warmed by a video of a canine’s proprietor detailing how she rescued her pet from the Chinese language meat commerce.
In a TikTok video, the pups are shown being awaited in Vancouver after having traveled for 40 hours. The video was posted under the account tianacalx.
Tiana explained how China Rescue Canines saved Lucy, her poodle, along with 32 other canines, from a Wuhan butcher. The total number of canines that came from China was 80.

In response to the Humane Society Worldwide (HSW), the trade in canine meat is especially prevalent in several Asian countries. This includes China, South Korea. Viet Nam. Cambodia. Indonesia.
Some areas of Switzerland and some African countries have reported that canine meat has been consumed on a smaller scale.
According to reports, around 30 million canines are killed each year in Asia for human consumption. Ten to twenty-million canines are killed each year in China, South Korea, Indonesia and Viet Nam. About 80,000 canines from this group are smuggled into Viet Nam, Laos, Thailand and Cambodia.
According to the Humane Society Worldwide website, it is impossible to collect accurate statistics because the canine meat trade is completely unregulated and frequently illegal.
Police and activists in China stopped the slaughter of approximately 400 canines during the Yulin Lychee and Canine Meat Pageant that takes place every year within Yulin, Guangxi Zhuang.
Over 14.6 Million people have liked and shared the TikTok video. More than 3,000,000 have also expressed gratitude to Tiana, for saving the dog.
