2. NC State — The Wolfpack’s defense has shown up. We’re still waiting for Devin Learyand his receivers to get out of the bus. Florida State — The last time the Seminoles were 4-0 was 2015. Mike Norvell’s transfer-heavy squad should have enough to get past Boston College as it heals.4. Syracuse — Garrett Shrader has been exciting to watch under new Orange OC Robert Anae, but until the Orange face NC State on Oct. 15, we won’t really know how good they are.5. Wake Forest — If the Demon Deacons really want to be taken as a serious threat, winning this week at home against Clemson would accomplish that.
6. Miami — Losing on the road at Texas A&M in front of 107,000 isn’t something to be embarrassed over. The Hurricanes’ inexplicable behavior is alarming.
