A woman hears a sound coming from a pipe, and she looks in to see two eyes staring at her.

After hearing the whining coming from an underground pipe, a woman decided to go inside. Two large eyes stared back at her from the underground pipe.

All of the puppies and their mother were snuggled up together.

Catalina appeared again after she returned home to get lunch. The mother dog quickly retrieved the bread she had placed at the pipe’s entrance when Catalina returned home to buy lunch.

She walked with a noticeable limp but was still hungry and wanted to protect her babies.

The mother collected the puppies from her backyard and took out an old chicken coop to provide temporary shelter for the family. Alma was dislocated at the hip and needed medication after an appointment with the veterinarian.

The mother will undergo hip surgery and the puppies will be adopted when they are old enough. Catalina gives this dog family a second chance! 🙂
