Mail carriers and dogs can have a love/hate relationship. Some dogs will come up to the mail carrier, while others may bark in defense of their home. There is nothing in the middle. Our experience shows that the latter is true.
But every now and then, you’ll witness a priceless exchange that makes you smile. This TikTok user @georgiadecosterrr video shows the exchange. The mailman was walking along her route as the TikToker parked her car. A Labrador spotted him approaching and started jumping with excitement. It is simply stunning!

Aww! He was anxiously anticipating a reward for his perseverance. Is it possible that the dog was anticipating receiving a reward? How else could he have learned to behave correctly? We bet that most dogs have an intuitive sense of who rewards them and make plans accordingly. HA!
