Samson, the Anatolian Shepherd, has bright future. Aranda Guerra from Selma, California was inspired to help Max the Anatolian Shepherd by taking one look at him.
Guerra used to own an Anatolian Shepherd once in a while and recognized the potential of the breed. Guerra was impressed by the Second Chance Animal Shelter’s most recent intake.
“He looked really sad. Super sad,” Guerra.
Because he was constantly getting out of his house, and his owner had given up on him, the adorable blue-eyed pooch was surrendered to the shelter. Samson got a second chance in life thanks to Aranda Guierra and John Anthony, a dog trainer.
“After a long drive up to Selma, CA, Samson is resting, hydrating, and enjoying his first marrow bone at the Redemption Road K9 Ranch while awaiting his physical exam,” a Facebook Status update explained.
Anthony plans to train Samson to be a little girl’s medical service dog. A medical service dog is needed for the child with a polycystic renal disease and a gastrointestinal condition.
“Watching Taylor and Samson bond on the ranch, I got emotional afterward because that’s the whole reason we started Redemption Road K9,” Anthony .
Samson, we love a happy end and wish you all of the best!
