Fox News Digital was informed Monday by a spokesperson for the Patriots. Robert Kraft is the owner paid for the flights of the UVA football team after a team plane was spotted at the Charlottesville–Albemarle Airport on Friday.
Devin Chandler, Lavel Davis Jr. and D’Sean Perry were shot to death on November 13, after they went on a field trip in Washington to see a play. A fourth player was also killed. Mike HollinsThe shooting also left him with serious injuries. He was released from the hospital last Wednesday.Â

According to ESPN ReportThe whole UVA football team had planned to attend all three funerals. These included Perry’s in Miami funeral on Saturday, Chandler’s in Virginia Beach on Sunday, and Davis’ celebration of life in South Carolina on Wednesday.Â
Last week, the university announced it had cancelled the final game of the regular season that was scheduled for Saturday. Virginia Tech.Â

The University of Virginia released a statement saying that “The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today the cancellation of the Virginia at Virginia Tech football match scheduled for Saturday November 26th.” “The Atlantic Coast Conference, Virginia, and Virginia Tech athletic department administrators reached a mutual decision.”
“The ACC and Virginia Tech continue to support UVA following the devastating tragedy, which resulted in the deaths of three members of the Cavalier football team – Devin Chandler, Lavel Davis Jr. and D’Sean Perry, and injuries to students Mike Hollins (also a Virginia football student-athlete) and Marlee Morgan.”

According to police, the shooter was a former student and football player. He was later identified by Christopher Darnell Jones Jr.
The suspect, aged 23, faces second-degree murder charges and other charges related to the shooting. Although police have not yet identified the motive, a prosecutor stated in court last week how a witness informed police that the gunman had targeted particular victims.
