Erling Haaland remained on the bench throughout Manchester City’s 0-0 draw at FC Copenhagen in the Champions League.
City were forced to play 60 minutes with only ten players as Sergio Gomez was sent to the stands for pulling Hakon Haraldsson down to the ground and scoring the goal.

However, any potential plans to bring him on would’ve been affected by Gomez’s red card
Gomez was released after a quick VAR review. This was the third time in a very short period. First half is bonkers.
Rodri’s stunning goal was later disallowed after the ball hit Riyad Mahrez on the hand earlier in the move.
The Premier League champions were then awarded a penalty for a handball following a VAR review, but Mahrez’s effort was saved by Kamil Grabara.
The second half was much less dramatic, but Kevin De Bruyne & Joao Arevalo had their efforts saved by Grabara.
Pep Guardiola chose not to bring Haaland along with City facing Liverpool on Sunday in the Premier League.
City missed out on the chance of sealing their place in 16th round. However, their place is confirmed if Borussia Dortmund defeats Sevilla later Tuesday night.
