Plan A has not been successful, to put it mildly. This game could be already over at 3-0.
Steve Cooper must find a plan B at the HT regardless.
Lodi and Williams were exposed down the flanks. O’Brien, Kouyate, and Lodi are not effective in midfield.#NFFC— Paul Taylor (@nottmtails) October 3, 2022

Conte concludes with a strong defense of his style. “In England many players concede 6, 7 goals. It has never happened in my career. I don’t like to play openly, to concede a lot, to concede 6,7 or 8 goals. I think I have the ability to teach football… to many people.

Jurgen Klopp tells Darwin Nunez that he is confident about Liverpool’s game time
Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he reassured Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez that he’s “completely calm” about his progress during a heart-to-heart at Kirkby.
The Uruguay international has struggled to make an impact following his £85 million move from Benfica this summer.
Nunez scored against Fulham on the first weekend, but was sent off for his home debut against Crystal Palace. Since serving a three-match suspension, he’s started just one of the past four games with Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota both selected ahead of him.

Manchester United must use derby defeat to ‘improve for future’ – Bruno Fernandes
Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United’s manager, has asked his Manchester City rivals to learn from their mistakes after Sunday’s 6-3 defeat.
United were defeated in the Manchester derby’s first half by Fernandes.
Erik ten Hag’s United went into the half-time interval 4-0 down but did put up a fight in the second half by scoring three goals thanks to a curling strike by Antony and a late Anthony Martial double.

William Saliba suggests that talks have begun about a new Arsenal contract
William Saliba suggests that negotiations could have already begun to sign a new Arsenal contract.
Since returning on loan, the Arsenal defender has excelled and is a key figure in this season’s start. On Saturday, he played a major role in Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
Saliba’s agreement expires in summer 2024. If the 21-year-old was not tied down to a new contract, his value would plummet.

Phil Foden at the brink signing a new Manchester City deal
Phil Foden is getting close to signing a new deal in Manchester City.
Foden, who scored his debut hat-trick against Manchester United on Sunday night, could sign the contract this week, depending on negotiations.
Although the England forward is a local lad, and City fan, he has not been interested in leaving the club. However, talks were halted by his management.
However, the deal is very close to being finalized. The 22-year-old will likely sign new terms that will keep him at Etihad until 2027 after the final details are completed.

BREAKING NEWS: Middlesbrough fires Chris Wilder
Chris Wilder has been fired by Middlesbrough.
Teesside are currently in the Championship relegation area after winning only two of eleven league games this season. Rumours persist that there is something wrong behind the scenes at Teesside. Wilder has been linked to a move in Bournemouth, and Burnley.
Former Sheffield United coach, Wilder, 55, joined Middlesbrough as the new coach last November. This was after Neil Warnock had retired. The FA Cup was a success, with Middlesbrough beating Tottenham and Manchester United. This gave Wilder a sense of renewal.

Chelsea and Christopher Nkunku agree to a deal
Christopher Nkunku (RB Leipzig forward) has signed a Pre-Contract Agreement to Join Chelsea for the 2023-24 Season.
It is understood that Chelsea have also committed themselves to paying more than the €60million (£52.7m, $58.8m) release clause in his contract.
The Stamford Bridge club are believed to have done so because the clause does not kick in until next summer and this way they secure Nkunku ahead of time, while also avoiding a more intense battle for the France international’s services.

There is only one place you can start…
Good morning. Good morning. Yesterday’s headlines were dominated by Phil Foden and Erling Haaland, both from Manchester City. They scored hat-tricks against Manchester United for Pep Guardiola.
United gave a good fight in the second period, but it was too late for them to make a significant comeback. The score ended at 6-3.
We’ll be covering the Manchester derby, Bruno Lage being sacked by Wolves, and many other topics throughout the day.
Stay tuned…
