Clippersstar Kawhi LeonardLawrence Frank, the team president said that Frank was cleared to work five-on-5 in his recovery from a partially-torn ACL.
Frank added Leonard wants to do “everything,” but the organization is stressing a methodical approach. The Clippers have not provided a timeline on the small forward’s return.
Leonard, 31 years old, has been out of action since June 2021 after sustaining an ACL injury in the Western Conference semifinals. He underwent surgery the next month. Prior to the injury, Leonard averaged 30.4 point and 7.7 rebound in 11 playoff matches.
Leonard was unable to play in the 2021-22 season because of the injury.
