The 2022-23 season’s first weekend at SAP Center will be a great reminder of the transition this franchise is in. For the first time in almost two decades, there is a new general manger. One of his most significant moves was to trade one the best defensemen in franchise and league history.

As the Sharks attempt to avoid missing the playoffs, there are many new players, a new coaching team and lots of uncertainty. Fans are divided over whether they should attempt to snap their streak of postseason losses.
